What do I need to run a photo booth?

A Grinfetti account, an iPad with the Grinfetti app installed, and internet at the venue. Optional: a second screen or projector for the live slideshow, and a large display stand for the iPad. Read more →

Do guests need an account?

No. Guests use the booth app at your event and open their gallery via a link you share or email. No sign-up is required for guests. Read more →

How many photos can each guest take?

Up to 6 photos per guest session in the booth app. They can finish earlier by tapping Done. Read more →

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes a limited one-time credit, Grinfetti branding in the iOS booth app, shorter photo retention, and no video backgrounds. Pro adds monthly credits, removes Grinfetti branding from the iOS booth app, enables video backgrounds, and extends retention. How do I buy more event credits?

Sign in, open Billing in the dashboard, and choose a credit pack or upgrade to Pro. You can also follow prompts in the booth app when credits run out. Read more →

How do I switch events on the iPad?

Open booth settings, enter your PIN, and choose a different event or re-run setup. The selected event must be enabled in your dashboard. Read more →

How do I email a guest their gallery?

In the event Guests tab, select the guest session, enter their email, and send. Customise the template on the Email tab first. Read more →

Where do I find the slideshow URL?

Open your event, go to the Slideshow tab, and use the link to open the live player. Share /slideshow/[your-event-id] with the display device browser. Read more →

How long are photos stored?

Retention depends on your plan (shorter on Free, longer on Pro). Your Billing page shows the exact number of days for your account. After retention expires, photos and galleries may be removed automatically. Read more →

Can I delete an event?

You can manage events from the Events list in your dashboard. Deleting removes associated photos and guest galleries. For full account removal, use Delete account in Settings. Read more →

Can I use Google or Apple to sign in?

Yes, on the website and in the booth app where supported. Use the same provider consistently for that account. Read more →

Does the booth work without internet?

Guests can still take photos offline; uploads queue until the device reconnects. Live slideshow and instant gallery links need connectivity. Read more →

How do I contact support?

Email support@grinfetti.com with your account email, event name, and a description of the issue. Include screenshots if helpful.
